About The Role
A fantastic opportunity has become available to join our Scottish Sales Team as a Sales Executive to grow and develop the Walkers Brand in four key areas: Sales, Distribution, Display, and New Business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a strong level of competitor and industry sector awareness and share this knowledge with management and internal teams.
- Drive Walkers Brand performance to achieve annual sales, distribution, and display targets whilst representing the Brand positively to the customer.
- Identify new business opportunities within new channels to attract new consumers to the Walkers Brand.
- Responsible for distribution and display of Walkers Brand products within Key Tourist, Food Service, Convenience, and Travel Sector customers.
- Focus on various products and categories throughout the year (NPD, Seasonal Lines, etc.).
- Manage territory effectively to ensure customers receive appropriate coverage and contact.
- Collaborate with 3rd party partners to ensure optimal distribution and display of Walkers' products in appropriate channels.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Familiarity with sales, reporting, and process management.
- Proven success in negotiating and influencing deals in an FMCG environment while meeting customer requirements.
- Excellent relationship-building skills both internally and externally.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- IT literate.
- Enthusiasm for teamwork and sharing learnings.
- Drive to succeed with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will primarily cover the Northern and Eastern parts of Scotland and ideally be based in Perth or surrounding areas.
