A large and well-run secondary academy in Bradford is seeking an organised and proactive Cover & HR Administrator to join its central operations team. The school is known for its clear systems, strong leadership and structured approach to staffing and daily operations. This is a dual-focused administrative role supporting both the coordination of daily cover and key HR processes, ensuring smooth staff deployment and compliance with safeguarding and employment requirements. The Role As Cover & HR Administrator, you will manage the daily cover timetable, coordinating staff absence cover and liaising with supply agencies where required. You will ensure that cover arrangements are communicated clearly and efficiently to teaching and support staff. In addition, you will support recruitment administration, maintain staff records and assist in updating the Single Central Record. Accuracy, discretion and the ability to prioritise effectively are essential in this role. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate daily staff cover arrangements • Liaise with supply agencies and external providers • Maintain accurate HR records and compliance documentation • Support recruitment processes and onboarding administration • Update and monitor the Single Central Record • Provide administrative support to the School Business Manager The School Environment Located in Bradford, the academy serves a large and diverse student population.
