This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a busy HR function and gain broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role: As HR Officer, you will support the delivery of a full range of HR services across the organisation. Working closely with the wider HR team and operational managers, you will provide day-to-day HR guidance, support recruitment activity, and assist with employee relations matters. This role offers a varied generalist remit with opportunities to get involved in HR projects and initiatives across the business. The main responsibilities: Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees. Support recruitment processes including coordinating interviews, shortlisting, and preparing offer documentation. Assist with employee relations matters including absence management, investigations, and disciplinary processes. Maintain HR systems and ensure employee records are accurate and up to date. Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters, and policy updates. Support the delivery of HR initiatives and projects aligned with business objectives. Produce HR reports and provide administrative support to the HR function as required. Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation. Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing, and CSR initiatives. The ideal candidate: CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification. Previous experience in an HR Assistant or Officer role. Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
