Role Overview
The HR Advisor is a standalone position responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support across the organization. Operating independently, the role is supported by a dedicated HR consultancy and legal team. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the company's culture and operational success during a period of growth.
Reporting
* Reports to the Global Head of Operations
* Direct reports include HR Administrator and HR Generalist (L&D)
Key Responsibilities
* Support all aspects of HR within the business
* Maintain accurate employee data and records
* Manage monthly payroll in collaboration with Finance
* Oversee employee benefits programs, handle queries, and implement improvements
* Lead employee relations, ensuring legal compliance, supporting investigations, and resolutions
* Support the development of company culture in partnership with the Global Head of Operations
* Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
* Partner with managers on performance, absence, and employee development
* Assist with recruitment activities from posting jobs to onboarding
* Serve as a primary HR contact for employees, providing guidance and support
* Build relationships with stakeholders across the business
* Stay informed of HR legislation to ensure compliance
* Review and improve HR systems, practices, and processes
Person Specification
* 3-4 years in a HR Manager role
* Level 7 CIPD qualification
* Strong understanding of UK employment law
* Commercial awareness and people skills
* Practical, flexible, and proactive approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and attention to detail
* Positive, self-starting attitude
