Overview
HR Manager - Corporate & Support Functions at BOC Limited, a Linde company. Location: Any Major UK Hub, United Kingdom. Ref: req25586.
Responsibilities
* Act as a critical partner to Business Leaders, delivering the HR strategy and people plans for Corporate and Support Functions using metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities to improve business performance.
* Collaborate with business leaders and the Talent team to develop near- and long-term workforce and demand plans, and manage the FTE planning process.
* Promote diversity & inclusion continuously and develop progressive plans with business areas to improve diversity, including DEI metric analysis and talent development with diverse pipelines.
* Lead organisation design initiatives and manage change projects, including communication, consultation, implementation and change management.
* Coach leaders and develop people capability within the line management population to enhance employee engagement and retention.
* Support pay negotiations, recognition processes, ER agenda, and contribute to Union Working Groups.
* Travel up to 30% to meet a wide range of people and visit sites and offices.
Qualifications and Skills
* Significant HR experience in a similar-sized organisation, with exposure to both unionised and non-unionised populations. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Project management experience with problem-solving skills and familiarity with PM approaches and tools.
* Analytical capability to apply insights in a commercial context to identify patterns and root causes.
* Negotiation and coaching skills; ability to coach and develop leaders, with strong management and leadership capabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels; capability to work collaboratively in a team.
* Proficiency with HR management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
* CIPD qualification or relevant degree is desirable.
