Location: Hybrid (Eastleigh)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm) part time considered
Pay Rate: £13.84ph
Contract: Temp (12 Weeks)
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly-organised and customer-focused HR Service Assistant to join a collaborative team within a major UK-based company. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional support service to the entire workforce.
You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of an efficient and comprehensive administrative service across the employee lifecycle, from new starters to leavers. Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for all employee queries, handling a wide range of requests related to benefits, payroll, and general HR matters.
* Provide accurate and timely administrative support for the full employee lifecycle, including preparing contracts, managing data input into HR systems, and maintaining precise records.
* Support the administration of annual processes such as long service awards, holiday entitlement, and annual appraisals.
* Conduct and support recruitment vetting activities for new starters and promotions.
* Work collaboratively with other HR teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and provide BAU reports as needed.
* Actively look for and recommend ways to improve processes, focusing on efficiency and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in a comprehensive administrative role is essential.
* A high degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail are a must.
* Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and put people at ease.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
* Competent in using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a high-volume workload.
* A team player who is reliable, adaptable, and has a positive attitude.
* The ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality is crucial.
* A CIPD qualification or experience in HR administration is desirable but not essential.
