Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based at our Mercedes-Benz Sytner dealership in Loughton. The Sales Executive will welcome and engage customers in the showroom, understand their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process, including new and approved used Mercedes-Benz models. Daily responsibilities include conducting test drives, presenting vehicle features and benefits, and managing the sales process from initial inquiry through to handover. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, following up on leads, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met. The Sales Executive will collaborate closely with the wider dealership team, including service and finance colleagues, to deliver a seamless customer journey and achieve individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sales, preferably in automotive or a similar consultative retail environment, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a diverse range of customers.
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and objection-handling abilities, with confidence in guiding customers through the full sales process.
* Good organizational and time-management skills, including accurate record-keeping, lead follow-up, and management of multiple customer enquiries.
* Comfort with digital tools and dealership systems, including CRM platforms, online enquiry handling, and basic Microsoft Office skills.
* Valid UK driving licence and the ability to conduct safe and professional test drives.
* Enthusiasm for the Mercedes-Benz brand and willingness to maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge through ongoing training.
* Ability to work on-site in Loughton on a flexible schedule, including weekends and peak trading times as required.
