Sales Executive – Commercial Vehicles (HGV)
Location: Walsall
Salary: £45,000 Basic + Bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
The Role
* This is a field-based Area Sales Manager position with a strong emphasis on new business development (70%), alongside managing and growing existing accounts (30%).
* You will be responsible for selling a full range of new and used commercial vehicles to B2B customers, targeting transport managers, heads of transport, and senior leadership teams.
* The role is primarily office-based (circa 70%), utilising CRM systems and an existing database to generate and manage opportunities, alongside external meetings when required.
* Proactively generate new business opportunities within target sectors
* Manage and develop existing customer accounts
* Build relationships with transport managers, fleet managers, and senior stakeholders
* Maintain accurate records and pipeline management via CRM
* Deliver against sales targets and KPIs

The Candidate
* Proven B2B sales experience within commercial vehicles or fleet sales
* Strong understanding of the HGV or transport sector
* Experience selling to transport managers or fleet decision makers
* Resilient, driven, and target oriented mindset
* Strong communication and relationship building skills
* Ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively using CRM systems
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
