Maths Learning Mentor Southwark College, part of NCG, is looking to recruit a talented Learning Mentor to support our GCSE Maths students. Based at our Southwark College site, close to Waterloo Station, the successful candidate will support the lecturers in an academic department to maximize student potential. The role would be providing support to learners studying GCSE Maths individually or in small groups in a dedicated English and Math Centre - that you will run. The main duties of the post holder are: To teach GCSE Maths to individual or small groups of students to support their learning. To contribute to the review, planning and development of the GCSE Maths curriculum at Southwark College To work with the Maths team to devise and implement a range of assessment activities. To assess student work and provide feedback to support learners to develop their skills and maximise their potential. To keep accurate records of student attendance and progress during Maths support sessions To be responsible for the Facilities within the English and Maths Study Centre If you have a passion for supporting students with their studies, we would like to hear from you.
