An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a fast-paced and people-focused organisation. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Senior Management Team, the HR Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning people with business objectives to drive growth, performance, and organisational success. The role will be full time on site 5 days a week and commence as soon as possible.
This operational position will lead on workforce planning, employee engagement, and cultural development, while ensuring compliance with HR best practices and UK employment law. The HR Manager will champion company values and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture where people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day HR management, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees.
Oversee and manage employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, capability, and absence management.
Support managers in driving engagement, performance, and accountability.
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the staff handbook, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
Manage recruitment and selection processes, from advertising through to onboarding, ensuring alignment with business needs and culture.
Support employee development initiatives, identifying learning needs and facilitating training opportunities.
Partner with senior leaders to contribute to workforce planning and organisational development.
Maintain HR records, reporting, and metrics, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications
CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified (or equivalent).
Evidence of ongoing professional development in HR.Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in an HR role with demonstrable employee relations expertise.
Previous experience in FMCG or a manufacturing/production environment is highly desirable.
Proven ability to support managers and teams through HR challenges and organisational change.Skills & Knowledge
Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
Confident in handling sensitive and complex HR matters with discretion.
