A highly respected UK law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Employment Lawyer to join its dynamic and growing employment team. This opportunity is being handled on a confidential basis by MAP Legal on behalf of the firm.
The Role
This role is ideal for a seasoned employment lawyer with a strong background in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. You will play a key role in supporting a broad client base across multiple sectors, including employers in education, public services, real estate, and commercial enterprises.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising on a full spectrum of employment issues including contracts, policies, grievances, dismissals, redundancy, and TUPE
* Representing clients in Employment Tribunal litigation
* Supporting corporate transactions with employment law due diligence and documentation
* Delivering client training and contributing to thought leadership and marketing initiatives
* Supervising junior lawyers and helping drive team development and strategy
About You
To succeed in this role, you will likely have:
* 5+ years PQE with a focus on employment law (candidates with slightly more or less experience will be considered on merit)
* Strong advisory and advocacy experience
* Excellent technical skills and commercial awareness
* A collaborative working style and the ability to foster client relationships
* Interest or experience in working with clients in the education or public sectors is a plus, but not essential
