Position Overview
We are seeking to hire a Senior Programme Coordinator to join our Programmes team at Belfast. This role involves supporting the Programme Manager, coordinating daily activities to meet programme objectives and customer satisfaction, and liaising with leadership teams in Belfast and Wichita.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain daily customer interface, ensuring requirements are clearly translated into programme objectives understood by all functions.
2. Negotiate with customers and strategic suppliers on schedule, contractual, and key programme issues.
3. Identify changes outside contract scope, understand rationale, and prepare related claims.
4. Coordinate inputs to programme budgets and plans to meet financial targets.
5. Focus on identifying and resolving key programme risks using effective management information systems and metrics.
6. Deputise for the Programme Manager as needed.
7. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should ensure their application details demonstrate how they meet the following criteria:
1. Minimum of HNC in Engineering or a related business subject, with at least 3 years of relevant project or programme management experience.
2. Knowledge of programme phases from inception to delivery.
3. Strong negotiation skills.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with senior personnel.
7. Proficiency with IT systems.
