The Role

The Sales Executive will be responsible for growing akru's customer base across the UK hospitality sector. You will introduce independent restaurants, pub groups, and cafe chains to the akru ecosystem — demonstrating how our cloud-based POS, Kitchen Display, Kiosk, and integrated payments can transform how they run their business.

This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales role. You will manage your own pipeline from prospecting through to close, working closely with our team to ensure every new customer has a smooth and positive onboarding experience.


What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and develop new business opportunities with restaurants, pubs, cafes, and multi-site hospitality operators across the UK.
* Own the full sales cycle — from initial outreach and discovery through to product demonstration, proposal, and close.
* Deliver compelling demos of the akru platform, clearly articulating the value of our POS, Kitchen Display, Kiosk, and integrated payment solutions to operators.
* Understand each prospect's specific challenges — whether that’s floor plan management, managing offers and promotions, improving kitchen workflows, or gaining real-time business insights — and tailor your pitch accordingly.
* Build and manage a healthy, well-qualified pipeline and maintain accurate records within our CRM.
* Work closely with the wider akru team to ensure smooth handovers and a great experience for every new customer.
* Keep up to date with trends in the hospitality sector and competitor activity, feeding insights back into the business.
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, sharing what’s working and helping refine our sales approach.
