What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead the site operation, ensuring contractual, financial and customer performance requirements are met across Consumer and Professional divisions
* Champion a proactive Health & Safety culture, driving compliance, continuous improvement and “Road to Zero” standards
* Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer, attending and chairing key meetings as the primary site contact
* Lead, coach and develop your management teams, promoting engagement, succession planning and high‑performance behaviours
* Oversee operational governance, KPIs, service delivery, cost control, environmental and quality compliance, while supporting strategic growth initiatives
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Senior management experience within logistics, supply chain or a similar operational environment
Strong leadership, change‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills
* Excellent communication and influencing capability, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making
Solid understanding of compliance, legislation, audit requirements and operational governance
* Experience delivering continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, CI) and driving operational excellence
* Technology savvy – familiar with WMS, SAP, MS Office and automated environments
