Overview
We require a Burger Cook on a part time basis approx 16hrs per week based in Genoa Newry. The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking and willing to learn, a background in catering or fast food would be an advantage. Please only apply if you can work weekend shifts
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook burgers on the hot plate according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
* Provide excellent service by interacting with customers when required, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a takeaway food setting.
* Strong skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques or willingness to learn
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A passion for cooking and creating high-quality food.
