<div><h3>New Lift & Modernisation Sales Executive</h3><p><b>Working Hours</b>: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm</p><p>As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, developing customer relationships, and securing profitable contracts across our New Lift Installation and Lift Modernisation divisions.</p><p>From identifying opportunities and completing tenders to supporting project delivery and maintaining client relationships, you will play an integral role in the continued growth of our engineering operation.</p><p>We are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual with a genuine passion for the lift industry and a commitment to our core values of honesty, transparency, and exceptional customer service.</p><h3>Package Includes</h3><ul><li>Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)</li><li>Attractive commission and bonus scheme</li><li>Company car</li><li>Hybrid working opportunities</li><li>25 days annual leave plus bank holidays</li><li>6 Rostered Days Off (RDOs) per year (one awarded after each two-month period without sickness)</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Ongoing professional development</li></ul><h3>Key Objectives</h3><ul><li>Generate high-quality sales leads and expand the customer base.</li><li>Meet or exceed agreed sales targets and contribute to sustained business growth.</li><li>Promote Elevators Ltd as a leading provider of lift modernisation and new lift installation solutions.</li><li>Build and maintain long‑term client relationships.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.</li><li>Conduct sales outreach to targeted customer groups and key stakeholders.</li><li>Generate and qualify new customer leads.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with lift consultants, M&E consultants, architects, surveyors, developers, and key decision‑makers within the construction industry.</li><li>Arrange and attend meetings, presentations, and networking events to promote Elevators Ltd and identify future project opportunities.</li><li>Complete client Pre‑Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).</li><li>Survey sites and specify bespoke lift modernisation and new lift installation solutions.</li><li>Prepare accurate costings, quotations, and tender submissions.</li><li>Complete tenders from lift consultants, main contractors, developers, and public sector procurement portals, with project values ranging from £25,000 to £1,000,000.</li><li>Attend fortnightly project progress meetings.</li><li>Provide commercial support to the project management team throughout project delivery.</li><li>Maintain CRM records and sales pipelines.</li><li>Prepare monthly and quarterly sales performance reports.</li><li>Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.</li></ul><h3>Skills & Qualifications</h3><h3>Essential</h3><ul><li>Proven experience within the lift industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of lift engineering principles, lift modernisation projects, and new lift installations.</li><li>Demonstrable track record of successful sales and business development.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Ability to build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other industry stakeholders.</li><li>Full UK driving licence.</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>Experience preparing technical tenders and bid submissions.</li><li>Knowledge of public sector procurement processes.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.</li><li>Familiarity with estimating and costing software.</li></ul><h3>Personal Attributes</h3><ul><li>Self‑motivated and target‑driven.</li><li>Professional and customer‑focused.</li><li>Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Organised and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.</li><li>Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.</li></ul><p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing independent lift company with an excellent reputation for quality, service, and engineering excellence.
