The Job You Will Do:
* Manage and direct the quality team, including a supervisor and quality coordinators and auditors, to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices and quality standards.
* Contribute to site improvements through quality review meetings with the operations team.
* Meet company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) through KPIs.
* Ensure compliance with the BRCGS programme for food packaging suppliers and communicate updates across departments.
* Maintain HARM/HACCP processes and train auditors; act as HARM team leader.
* Update and communicate procedures, ensuring group-wide alignment and compliance.
* Implement and communicate training related to procedural changes.
* Coordinate with suppliers for approvals and documentation.
* Enforce PPE, workwear, hygiene standards, and housekeeping.
* Conduct internal audits (e.g., Glass, sharps, GMP, Traceability) and ensure corrective actions.
* Stay updated on legislation and update relevant policies.
* Oversee goods-inwards testing and address issues with the General Manager.
* Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding complaints and issues.
* Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
* Record and analyze statistical data related to quality metrics.
* Assist in implementing quality systems and identify improvement opportunities.
* Coordinate external audits and support customer visits.
* Support the transition to ISO standards.
About You:
* Relevant experience as a quality manager in food and drink or similar manufacturing industry.
* Experience with BRCGS is essential.
* Knowledge of HACCP is required.
* Experience in writing and implementing SOPs.
