About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage day-to-day operations on our electrical/gas infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards — maintaining compliance with SHEA Gas requirements and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and coordinate all site activities, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.
* Maintain full compliance with SHEA Gas, HSE, and company safety standards.
* Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
* Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings.
* Manage project documentation, including permits, RAMS, and progress reports.
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication.
* Monitor budgets, schedules, and resources to maintain performance targets.
* Promote a positive safety culture and ensure all operatives hold valid SHEA Gas cards.
Qualifications & Experience
* Valid SHEA Gas qualification (essential).
* SMSTS certification (essential).
* Proven experience managing gas infrastructure or utilities projects.
* Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, HSE legislation, and safe working practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
