Senior HR Manager

Are you a standalone Senior HR Manager that loves partnering the business Directors to design and deliver an innovative and commercial HR strategy?
Do you enjoy rolling your sleeves up and delivering a fully generalist HR support to an SME operation?
I am currently working with an SME business within the luxury goods industry to source a standalone HR Manager to partner with an engaged and ambitious Senior Leadership Team to design and deliver a forward-thinking people agenda. With a focus on retention, reward and culture, you will be at the helm of supporting the business to evolve their current people offering, whilst delivering the day to day HR duties.
You will be working for a values-based business that want to continue to invest in employee experience and culture. There is plenty of work to be done to commercialise their current ways of working, but they are keen to retain the heart of who they are as a brand and build an environment where people feel safe to grow and deliver the best version of themselves.
Responsibilities
* Partner the business Directors to build and implement a people strategy with a focus on retention, engagement and workplace culture
* Build on current talent and succession processes to stay on top of identifying and developing talent across the business
* Lead on day to day generalist HR duties across the employee lifecycle, including ER, performance, absence management and transactional HR activity
* Lead on all recruitment and onboarding activity across the business
* Keep all people policies and procedures up to date and utilised throughout the business
* Upskill and coach managers on HR best practice

Requirements
* Experience as a Senior HR Manager or equivalent in a standalone HR role
* Strong partnership with Directors and Senior Leadership Teams
* Generalist HR across employee lifecycle, ER, performance, absence management, recruitment, onboarding
* Policy development and implementation experience
* Coaching and upskilling managers in HR best practices
* UK-based experience; luxury goods sector experience preferred
