We’re Hiring: Workshop Labourer – Mechanical & Electrical Support
We’re looking for a Workshop Labourer to join a leading team in the mechanical and electrical industry, providing essential support to skilled fitters on high-quality projects.
💰 Pay Details:
✔ £16.45 per hour basic rate
✔ 1.5x pay after 38 hours per week
✔ 2x pay on Saturday afternoons and Sundays
📅 Contract: Temporary – minimum 3 months, with potential extension for the right person
What you’ll do:
✔ Assist mechanical and electrical fitters with assembly, installations, and maintenance
✔ Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely
✔ Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
✔ Support day-to-day operations and follow all health and safety procedures
What we’re looking for:
🔹 Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
🔹 Ability to work in a team and take direction
🔹 Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical tools (preferred, not essential)
🔹 Physically fit and able to handle manual labour tasks
