Texo Recruitment are seeking multiple experienced External Site Manager to oversee demolition, remediation, and external works on a major multi‑rise development.
This is a 12‑month contract, offering an excellent opportunity for seasoned professionals to deliver complex external packages to a high standard.
Location: Southampton
Start Date: December / Early Jan
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day external site operations, including demolition and remediation phases.
* Oversee subcontractors, ensuring safe working practices, programme adherence, and quality control.
* Lead site coordination for logistics, groundworks, facade preparation, and associated external activities.
* Implement and maintain strong H&S compliance across all areas of the site.
* Report project progress, manage documentation, and liaise with project managers and other stakeholders.
* Mitigate risks, resolve issues proactively, and support efficient delivery of all external works.
Requirements
* Essential: Proven background in multi‑rise demolition and remediation.
* Strong technical understanding of demolition sequencing, remediation processes, and external construction packages.
* Demonstrable experience running fast‑paced, high‑risk external sites.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (preferred).
