Job Scope
* Implement improvements to process capability through structured, data driven problem solving and ensure appropriate tools and governance are in place to support continued, tangible improvement
* Focused on establishing and maintaining product or service quality by developing and implementing quality control systems, monitoring performance, conducting audits, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
* You are responsible for leading the organization on its quality journey, and implementing strategies, and managing resources to achieve company objectives.
Role and Responsibilities
* Line management responsibilities for the UK Quality organisation. Managing the workload between multiple internal and external customers
* Ensure BMS is adhered to through implementation and administration of the Quality Management System within Winbro UK
* Ensure that all external accreditations are maintained and improved including but not limited to ISO9000/AS9100/Nadcap
* Ensure that the company\'s product quality and reliability meets or exceeds customer\'s expectations
* Management representative responsible for oversight of Quality Assurance
* Direct reporting of Quality Assurance governance/compliance to LT
* Support the Winbro Operations team to ensure products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the QMS
* Liaising with the relevant departments and customers on quality issues
* Creating and maintaining company quality documentation, such as manuals and procedures
* Preparation for and participation with internal, external and supplier audits
* Root cause analysis and implementation/co-ordination of corrective action for process/product related concerns
* Improve quality within the business through identification and implementation of continuous improvement activities
* Facilitate improvement events and lead by example using best practice
* Solve problems in a structured and appropriate manner e.g., 3C / 8D / DMAIC
* Co-ordinate and conduct internal audits across Winbro BMS as required
* Support supply chain and procurement with supplier evaluations, audits, and assessments
* Final release of product to Customer
Requirements
* A meticulous approach to monitoring processes and product specifications
* Strong verbal and written communication for reporting, training, and collaborating with various teams.
* Ability to analyze data, interpret statistical information, and make data-driven decisions.
* Understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards.
Qualifications
* Degree level or HND and 10+ years of industrial manufacturing experience
* Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt problem solving or equivalent qualification
