Product & Brand Developer – 18‑Month FTC

Booker Group is recruiting 3 Product & Brand Developers on 18‑month fixed‑term contracts to support its own brand projects.
About the role
In this role you will support the Product & Brand Manager to develop proposition‑based developments ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs and in line with business priorities and timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, conduct market research and competitor analysis, and support identifying opportunities. This role requires regular travel to business locations including our test kitchen.
Responsibilities
* Analyse competitor offerings and benchmark against industry standards.
* Help identify emerging food trends, consumer preferences and gaps in the current product range.
* Develop products and ranges according to agreed proposition, strategy & deadlines.
* Present proposed new ranges to senior stakeholders ensuring efficient sign off.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders, artwork agencies & suppliers to ensure products are launched successfully and on time.
* Track progress and resolve any issues throughout the gated process.
* Present new launches to internal stakeholders (Comms, Marketing, Sales).
* Support and contribute to internal and external stakeholder tastings.
* Support post‑launch review.

Qualifications
* Experience working in the product industry (food products advantageous).
* Customer/market insight & commercial understanding.
* Demonstrated passion for product.
* Product development knowledge.
