As a team lead, manage the DevProx team on a day-to-day basis and serve as the first point of contact between Dev Prox and the business and other IT teams. Provide direction and manage key deliveries as per business requirements. Additionally, be responsible for organizing and managing business prioritization of deliveries, ability to communicate at different levels of management.
Work on projects for the CM IT DevProx team (PROximity DEVelopment), responsible for providing the business (Commodities Market) with flexible, scalable, and tailored user software applications where proximity developments and resources are necessary.
Main stakeholders include, but are not limited to, Front Office (trading, sales, and structuring). The team also provides control and support functions for teams such as Middle Office and Risk. The role is hands-on and involves developing and managing some projects from initiation to delivery. Main development areas include pricing tools, market data contribution, risk management tools, and reporting tools.
The team contributes to designing and implementing a resilient, efficient, and scalable Information System for CM, in close cooperation with other relevant IT, business, and operational teams in London and worldwide.

* Work closely with Head Office (Paris) teams, especially Dev Prox, and leverage processes with Head Office.
* Nimble to work on projects & BAU support issues
Strong, clear, and precise communication (oral & written) is a key requirement. Speaking French is an added advantage.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide technical solutions to business needs following best practices and standards. Be a driver for change and promote strategic solutions with a long-term perspective. Demonstrate urgency on business-related issues and manage expectations.
* Develop pricing tools for all commodity assets (energy, metals, carbon emissions, indexes, gas).
* Manage market data (real-time contribution, end-of-day) for these assets.
The team will also ensure support and maintenance of all its developments within an agile framework.
Provide the business with software applications by following the in-house proximity development lifecycle, which includes:
* User needs collection and anticipation.
* Analysis and specification definition.
* Proposal of multiple solutions, including studies comparing options for strategic decision-making.
* Implementation and delivery.
* Support and documentation.
* Bug tracking and continuous evolution.
* Recommendations on architecture, technologies, and IT solutions.
* Analysis, problem-solving, and escalation.
* Adherence to software development standards, methodologies, and procedures.
* Collaboration with CM IT Quants, MOA, MOE, and other teams.
* Training and skills assessments at regular intervals.
Follow branch compliance rules.
Propose new projects to the business, taking lead on topics such as:
* Innovative solutions.
* New business activities and products.
* Opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Reporting:
* Provide timely progress updates to management.
* Ensure support during trading hours and manage on-call support for the US desk.
* Manage team roster to ensure adequate support in London during business hours.
Work towards system stability and operational risk mitigation, aiming to prevent outages.
