Join Our Team as a Quality Manager!
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? KFF is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Quality Manager to join our dynamic team at our Aylesford depot. Reporting directly to the Head of Distribution Quality Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Expected Start Date: July 1, 2025
Your Key Responsibilities
As our Quality Manager, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our quality management systems. Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining Salsa / STS certifications at our manufacturing site, with a goal to progress to BRC Food Safety.
* Overseeing MSC / ASC and other third-party certifications.
* Ensuring BRC Storage & Distribution certification for our distribution site.
* Conducting internal audits against the QMS & BRC S&D Standard.
* Managing the Approved Supplier List and implementing a supplier audit program based on risk assessments.
* Approving new product codes and ensuring accurate product labeling.
* Supporting customer and regulatory visits/audits as needed.
* Facilitating investigations of complaints and product non-conformance.
* Training personnel on food safety, quality, hygiene, and legality.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* A full clean Driver's License.
* A degree in Food Science Technology (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
* HACCP and Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor qualifications.
* Demonstrable manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety legislation, QMS, BRC standards, and auditing.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* A tenacious attitude and a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
