HR Administrator - 6 Month Contract (Potential Extension)
We are currently recruiting for two HR Administrators to support a busy and fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment across two locations:
1. Campsie, Northern Ireland
2. Burnfoot, Co. Donegal
These are 6-month contract roles, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
Salary
3. Burnfoot (ROI): € - per hour
4. Campsie (NI): £13 per hour
The Role
The HR Administrator will play a key role in supporting the HR team with day-to-day administrative duties, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with core HR processes across a large operational workforce.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a high-volume, professional HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
5. Provide administrative support to the HR team across a range of HR activities
6. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
7. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
8. Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination and candidate communication
9. Prepare HR reports and maintain data within HR systems
10. Assist with payroll-related administration (timesheets, absence tracking, etc.)
11. Handle employee queries in a professional and timely manner
12. Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
13. Ensure all HR processes align with company policies and employment legislation
Requirements
14. Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role
15. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
16. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
17. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
18. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
19. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Desirable
20. Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
21. Exposure to HR systems or databases
22. Understanding of basic employment legislation (NI or ROI)
