More about the role:
The candidate should be able to define Data Product Definition, Architecture, and Roadmap.
Responsibilities include defining the Target Model backlog in collaboration with client stakeholders and leading the delivery of a complete Architectural Design.
The candidate must ensure that designs and guidance align with relevant strategies, roadmaps, and policies.
Experience with UK Mortgages is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience with GCP, Harness, and Azure is expected.
The candidate should support gathering information requirements from IT and Business stakeholders, ensuring these requirements are realistic and achievable, and simplifying and de-risking the information landscape.
Model the information requirements in ways understandable to different stakeholders and relate them to enterprise-wide information architecture.
Understand the strengths and weaknesses of the solutions and take necessary steps to mitigate weaknesses.
Define the information roadmap for the project and wider programme for the development of the solution.
Understand the position of the solution within the wider application and information landscape, working alone or with other architects to embed the solution effectively.
Ensure data design consistency throughout all phases by facilitating knowledge transfer to the Engineering team and reviewing downstream deliverables.
Define, at the logical level, data interfaces between systems and aid in the physical design of data stores, interface files, or services.
Ensure the solution complies with the client's information policies and standards.
Lead Architecture Committee governance approvals for artefacts.
