Site Manager
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: Grade E - Scale 11 - 17 (£28142 - £31022)
Hours: 37 hours (2 hour lunch break) All year round
The Governors of Gaskell Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to take pride in maintaining our school building and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.
The successful applicant will join our friendly, supportive and highly performing staff team.

The successful candidate will:
Be an outstanding and hardworking Site Manager who is committed to:
* Have relevant experience in Site management in a school or a similar setting
* Have a strong understanding of all health and safety procedures and requirements and ensure compliance, including conducting regular checks, managing fire safety systems, and maintaining records
* Be able to undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks across the school premises and grounds including litter picking, light gardening, and ensuring pathways are clear and safe.
* Be a key holder, responsible for the security of the buildings and grounds, including opening and closing the school daily and managing alarm systems.
* Be able to oversee and assist with the cleaning standards of the school buildings and manage external cleaning contractors.
* Be able to oversee and liaise with external contractors on site, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within school safety guidelines.
* Be able to manage stock control for maintenance and cleaning supplies.
* Have the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
* Be a fantastic team player with a good sense of fun
* Have a full driving licence
