Job Description
The HR Officer will provide hands-on support in managing casework, including sickness absence, informal grievances, early-stage performance management, and other employee engagement initiatives.
You will also play a key role in implementing the Central People & Culture strategy, monitoring and reporting on HR activities, and introducing improvements to management information to support data-driven decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on employee wellbeing, organisational performance, and workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
2. Manage casework including sickness absence, informal grievance cases, and early-stage performance management.
3. Collaborate with the Key Account Director and Operations Leads to drive high standards of people performance.
4. Ensure compliance with company policies and client-specific requirements where applicable.
5. Support the delivery of the People & Culture strategy and operational business objectives.
6. Promote best practices in equality, diversity, and inclusion across the organisation.
7. Research and implement evidence-based approaches to health, wellbeing, and employee engagement.
8. Raise awareness of corporate social responsibility and charity activities to foster a positive and inclusive environment.
9. Develop and improve management information, reporting insights to enhance decision-making processes.

10. Strong experience in HR operations and case management.
11. Proven ability to handle a variety of employee relations cases confidently.
12. Personable with excellent communication skills, able to engage with employees at all levels.
13. Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively.

15. Committed to being onsite 4 days a week.
