Description
Administer HR processes including benefits, headcount reporting, time and attendance, HR system updates and personnel records
Manage onboarding, probation and exit processes
Collate and submit payroll changes (starters, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, pensions, benefits)
Process maternity, paternity, adoption and other family leave documentation
Monitor and record absence, advising managers on Occupational Health referrals where appropriate
Provide guidance and support to line managers and employees
Deliver training and support on HR systems
Support HR projects, programmes and business initiatives
Maintain document retention systems in line with company policy
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and current UK employment legislationProfile
A successful HR Manager should have:
Proven HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of operational HR processes and payroll collation
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
Confident advising and supporting line managers
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Experience handling absence management and family leave processes
Strong HR systems capability
Professional, discreet and able to handle confidential information
Spanish language skills would be advantageousJob Offer
Competitive pro rata salary of £40,000-£45,000 per year
