Hays are working with a non-departmental body to appoint an HR Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your new role
As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for:
1. Administrative tasks associated with the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, employee background checks and liaising with recruitment agencies
2. Provide administrative support for learning and development activities
3. Support with administrative tasks related to the organisation's attendance management process
4. Health & safety administration
5. Carry out general administrative tasks for the HR department, phone calls, drafting standardised documents, managing the HR inbox
What you'll need to succeed
Essential Criteria:
6. A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, which must include English Language and Mathematics
7. At least two years’ relevant experience in an administrative role, including one year’s experience in a similar HR role
8. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
9. Excellent written and verbalmunication skills
10. Strong organisational and time management skills
11. Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information
Desirable Criteria:
12. CIPD member
13. HR-related qualification
14. Experience of usingputerised HR systems, PAMS
15. Knowledge of HR best practice
