CATERING MANAGER
Required for January 2026
Band 5, SCP 9-12 (FTE £27,254-£28,598; Actual £14,208-£14,909)
0930-1400 Monday-Friday; term time plus one week
We are a thriving village school seeking to appoint an experienced Catering Manager who has a passion for cooking and providing high quality meals. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys using their own initiative, as well as working as part of a team.
Ideally candidates should hold the Level 3 Food Safety Certificate, although training will be given. Applicants should have experience of working in a similar environment, and be capable of supervising and motivating staff. They should have a strong culinary background and be motivated by providing the best possible food and service to students, staff and visitors.
Duties include preparing an average of 90-100 meals per day, food ordering, monthly stock takes and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen.
