We have an exciting opportunity in our Construction division for a Site Manager– There has never been a better time to join!
The successful person will have previous experience in Site Management and proven track record in successful delivery.
As a Site Manager at Story Contracting you will
· Manage daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and schedule labour, plant and materials
· Deliver safe and quality projects in line with programme, budget and specification
· Ensure compliance with risk assessments, method statements and construction phase plans
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
· Lead and develop site teams, including direct Story employees and subcontractors
· Carry out site inspections, accurately recording details and following through with any actions
· Work for multiple clients on a variety of projects, initially for our Manufacturing and Commercial clients
The Ideal Candidate:
· Demonstrable experience in both civil engineering and building / refurbishment projects
· Knowledge of working in sensitive environments where protecting client interests is key (e.g. food hygiene, live manufacturing sites, high security sites)
· People management skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with people
· Ability to maintain and develop excellent client relationships and be able to demonstrate success with this
· Hold SMSTS, CSCS (Management Level) and First Aid qualifications
· Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
· Hold effectively IT skill across MS Office
· Ability to effectively manage a high volume of workload
