The client is looking for an experienced HR professional to join the business for a newly created role. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will be highly driven, bring strong professional gravitas, and demonstrate the capability and ambition to progress into an HR Director position as the business continues to evolve. Role Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to design and implement a robust HR strategy that supports and drives overall business goals. Partner with managers and employees to drive Learning & Development, creating robust frameworks that enhance training, skills development, and organisational capability. Review and audit all HR policies and procedures to ensure that they are fit for purpose Support managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures Keep up to date with UK employment legislation Manage investigations and employee relations issues Monitor and develop performance appraisal systems Gather and evaluate market data to measure the organisation’s competitiveness for salary reviews, compensation and benefits packages Person Specification: Proven HR generalist experience on both strategic and operational level Experience of developing and engaging a growing workforce through coaching and L&D initiatives. Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law Ability to work autonomously Hands-on with a can-do attitude Experience of the day to day and understand what GOOD looks like Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the HR function of this growing organisation.
