Overview
Orthohouse UK is seeking an ambitious, commercially minded Orthopedic sales executive to drive sales growth. This role is central to shaping our market presence, identifying new opportunities, and building long-term partnerships that expand our customer base.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sales, a sales oriented mindset, and proven success in growing healthcare markets. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence market entry strategy, establish new partnerships, and contribute directly to the success of an innovative and fast-growing orthopaedics company.
Responsibilities
1. Sales Management
o Execute sales plans to deliver growth across NHS and private healthcare sectors.
o Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and key accounts.
o Deliver on agreed growth targets while ensuring sustainable, long-term customer engagement.
2. Account Management
o Build, nurture, and expand relationships with surgeons, procurement teams, theatre staff, and healthcare decision-makers.
o Retain, grow, and optimize existing accounts to maximise market share.
3. Market Insights & Market Intelligence
o Monitor and analyze competitor activity, market trends, and clinical developments to shape commercial strategy.
o Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making and future product positioning.
o Maintain accurate and timely business data in the company CRM to support forecasting and strategic planning.
4. Product & Clinical Support (Commercial Context)
o Develop deep expertise across the orthopaedic portfolio and communicate value propositions tailored to customer needs.
o Actively participate in product launches, industry events, and conferences to enhance Orthohouse UK’s profile.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work closely with marketing, operations, and clinical support teams to deliver coordinated customer engagement.
o Provide field-based insights to refine go-to-market strategies, and campaigns.
Requirements
* Proven experience with orthopedic sales not less than two years.
* Strong track record of building markets, growing accounts, and securing new business in competitive healthcare sectors.
* In-depth knowledge of NHS procurement pathways and private healthcare models.
* Exceptional commercial acumen with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Highly organized, entrepreneurial, and results-driven.
* Resilient, adaptable, and motivated to grow a business from the ground up.
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.
* Preferred location Glasgow /Edinburgh/M8 Corridor.
