Location: Remote (UK-based)
Salary Range: £33,000 per annum
Security Clearance: BPSS

The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our People Operations team. You will support a wide range of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, payroll coordination, visa administration, and employee engagement. This is a key role within our HR team, contributing to operational excellence and strategic support.
You will work closely with senior HR personnel, attend HR meetings, and help ensure a positive, compliant, and data-driven HR function.

Key Responsibilities
Core HR Operations
Manage the end-to-end onboarding process including pre-employment checks and BPSS clearance.
Administer and coordinate visa applications and right-to-work documentation, working with external legal advisors as needed.
Support monthly payroll coordination, liaising with Finance and external providers to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain and update employee records, trackers, and HRIS systems with a high level of accuracy.
Respond to employee queries related to HR policies, leave, pay, and benefits.
Assist in offboarding processes, including exit interviews, asset returns, and offboarding documentation.
Employee Relations & Support
Prepare documentation for employee relations matters (e.g. probation extensions, performance letters, grievance/disciplinary support).
Attend HR-related meetings to take minutes and assist with case tracking and follow-up actions.
HR Meetings & Reporting
Participate in regular HR team meetings, contributing to discussions and helping execute agreed actions.
Assist in improving HR reporting, collecting and analysing data on onboarding, turnover, probation, and performance.
Support internal and external HR audits by preparing required documentation.
Compliance, Policy, and Data
Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal HR policies.
Assist in updating policies, employee handbooks, and process documentation.
Maintain GDPR-compliant storage and handling of employee data.
Training, Development & Engagement
Coordinate internal training sessions (booking, tracking attendance, following up).
Support organisation of company events, recognition programs, and wellbeing initiatives.
Maintain benefit scheme records and act as a liaison with providers (e.g. Private Healthcare, EV Scheme).

Requirements
2+ years in an HR administrative or coordinator role, ideally in a fast-paced or consultancy environment.
Familiarity with UK right-to-work processes and basic visa administration.
Exposure to payroll input/coordination and working with payroll providers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ideally HRIS systems (e.g. SafeHR, HiBob, or similar).
Confidential, proactive, and collaborative in approach.
