🚀 The Opportunity
We’re working with a fast-growing digital product company that is scaling its engineering team to support a major platform rebuild. They are looking for a highly experienced Frontend Developer to join on a contract basis and help deliver a modern, high-performance web application used by thousands of users across the UK.
This is a fully remote role (UK-based), offering the chance to work on a greenfield product with a strong engineering culture and autonomy.
* Build and maintain scalable frontend applications using modern frameworks
* Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers
* Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction
* Implement responsive, accessible, and performant UI components
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
* Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies
* Strong experience with React and TypeScript
* Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks
* Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture and design patterns
* Experience consuming REST APIs and/or GraphQL
* Familiarity with state management tools (e.g. Redux, Zustand, or similar)
* Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
* Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
* Experience with design systems and component libraries
* Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms
* Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
* Previous experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
