Our client, a well-established contractor within the retail and commercial fit-out sector, is seeking an experienced Freelance Working Site Manager for a shopfit project in Ebbw Vale starting January.
This role requires a hands-on leader—someone who can manage trades on site while also getting on the tools when needed to keep the project moving. If you’re a practical, proactive manager who’s comfortable balancing supervision with physical work, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day site management of a fast-track shopfit project
* Coordinating subcontractors, materials, and site logistics
* Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance
* Working on the tools as required to support progress and deadlines
* Ensuring project milestones are met on time and to specification
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within shopfitting / fit-out
* Comfortable as a working manager with a hands-on approach
* Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred
* Ability to commit to a full 4-month contract from January
