Transport Administrator, Belfast, £14 per hour, Immediate start, permanent

Your new role
As a Transport Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day coordination of transport and waste collection operations. Working closely with drivers, customers and the Transport Manager, you will ensure smooth and compliant operations across the fleet.
Key responsibilities include:Transport Planning & Coordination
* Liaising with customers, drivers and the Transport Manager
* Monitoring vehicle movements and resolving delays or disruptions
Driver Administration
* Maintaining driver records, licences, CPC qualifications and training documentation
* Monitoring driver hours and supporting compliance with regulations
* Managing digi card downloads and reporting
* Completing weekly driver debriefs
Compliance & Record Keeping
* Maintaining accurate transport documentation and records
* Ensuring all paperwork is completed and filed correctly
* Supporting compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
* Assisting with audits
Vehicle & Fleet Administration
* Scheduling servicing, MOTs, inspections and maintenance
* Monitoring vehicle defects and arranging prompt repairs
* Managing vehicle changes on the Operator’s Licence
What you'll need to succeed
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective communication and customer service skills
* Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience with transport management systems
* Knowledge of transport compliance (desirable)
* Full clean driving licence and access to your own transport
