We are currently seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join a high-profile digital transformation programme within a leading UK financial services organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of customer-facing mobile applications used by millions of users, working within a modern engineering environment that embraces Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications.
* Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.
* Support the delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient mobile solutions.
* Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering standards.
Required Skills & Experience
* Excellent knowledge of Swift and modern iOS development practices.
* Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
* Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM.
* Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
* Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated testing.
* Familiarity with Git-based source control and Agile development methodologies.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Experience working within highly regulated environments such as financial services.
* Exposure to cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.
* Experience with accessibility standards and mobile security best practices.
* Knowledge of reactive programming frameworks such as Combine.
* Experience developing applications at enterprise scale.
