An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hotel Reception Manager or a Reception Supervisor with at least 12 months experience in a larger hotel to join a busy and well-established 4-star property located on the outskirts of Chester.
We are looking for a hands-on, guest-focused individual to lead and develop a Front Office team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception and nights. This is a highly visible role within the hotel where you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest journey from arrival through to departure.
The Role:
Leading the daily operation of the Front Office department and ensuring smooth and efficient shift management
Monitoring guest satisfaction and identifying opportunities to improve service standards
Maximising room occupancy and promoting hotel services and facilities
Managing rotas, departmental standards and operational procedures
Ensuring strong team knowledge of hotel products, pricing and local area information
Supporting recruitment, training and ongoing development of the Front Office team
Communicating effectively with senior management regarding guest service and operational matters
About You:
Experienced Hotel Reception Manager of 100 bedroom hotel or Reception Supervisor with a minimum of 12 months experience in a larger hotel environment
Strong working knowledge of Reslynx is essential
Confident leading from the front within a busy, fast-paced hotel
Highly organised, professional and guest-focused at all times
Flexible approach with ability to work early/late shifts and weekends
Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail
Hands-on leader who enjoys supporting and developing a team
