Catering Manager – Highfield HospitalLocation: RochdaleHours: 40 hours per weekSalary: £31,015 per annumLead a High Impact Healthcare Catering OperationWe are looking for a driven and people focused Catering Manager to oversee our catering services at Highfield Hospital, part of our prestigious Medirest Signature portfolio within Circle Health Group, the UK's leading independent healthcare provider.Working in partnership with an on site Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the full catering operation, ensuring exceptional service delivery, team performance, and a first class experience for patients, staff, and visitors.What You Will Be DoingAs Catering Manager, you will be the operational lead ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.You will:Take full responsibility for the catering operation, from service delivery to compliance and performanceLead and inspire your team by managing, coaching, and developing staff to deliver consistently high standardsWork closely with the Head Chef to align operational efficiency with food quality and patient needsBuild strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, responding to feedback and evolving requirementsDrive financial performance by managing labour, food costs, and budgets effectivelyEnsure full compliance with food safety, allergens, and healthcare regulationsPlan resources effectively to ensure smooth and efficient service deliveryWhat We Are Looking ForWe are seeking someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service through strong leadership.You will ideally have:Experience as a Catering Manager or similar operational leadership role, ideally within contract catering or healthcareProven ability to lead, engage, and develop high performing teamsExperience managing client or stakeholder relationshipsStrong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and control costsSolid understanding of food safety, compliance, and regulatory requirementsExcellent communication and organisational skillsIT literacy including Microsoft Office and email systemsMake a Difference Every DayThis is an opportunity to lead a service that directly impacts patient wellbeing and experience.
