The Sales team operates at the face of our business introducing clients to our trusted strategic intelligence. What you’ll be doing… Consistently exceed your sales target through prospecting, growing and retaining accounts for GlobalData Healthcare Events. This is new business “hunter” sales role with an excellent commission scheme specifically designed to reward success in up sell, cross sell and new business achieved from Day 1. Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline. Sell sponsorships and digital advertising packages for suite of products/services Collaborate with the events team and with the wider HC Business to ensure seamless delivery of client commitments. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored advertising and sponsorship solutions. Stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new business opportunities. What we’re looking for… Proven sales experience (Event / Advertising / Media Sales) You have an enviable track record of personal high achievement and success. You thrive in a high- performing sales environment and winning/closing deals You are self-motivated and positive with a desire to succeed. Tenacious and persistent in overcoming objections and winning the deal. You must be able to thrive in a fast- paced, KPI driven environment and a motivated self-starter Demonstrable ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team environment A passion for learning and self-improvement. Fluent English communication skills (verbal & written). Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high level of business acumen. Eligibility to work in the UK unrestricted is essential. Ability to travel and work overseas including EU/ USA/Asia. Preferred but not essential Experience working within the Healthcare/ Pharma/ BioTech sectors. Proficiency in additional languages and sales experience is preferable but is not a requirement.
