The Opportunity
Due to recent success with tendered projects, Procast Group require a Senior Site Manager to join our team. As a business we operate over several sectors including residential, retail, health and commercial, with both private and public sector clients.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Manager to take ownership of complex renovation projects across both commercial and residential properties. You will play a key leadership role, driving delivery to the highest standards of quality, safety and programme performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of renovation projects across commercial and residential buildings, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors and supply chain, maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
• Liaise effectively with clients, design teams, consultants and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact on site.
• Oversee programme management, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to protect programme and cost.
• Maintain accurate site records including progress reports, RAMS, inspection and test plans, and all associated documentation.
• Carry out quality inspections and snag reviews to ensure all works are completed to the required standard prior to handover.
• Mentor and develop junior site staff and apprentices in line with Procast’s culture of continuous improvement.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings, providing clear and accurate reporting to the senior management team.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
• Significant, demonstrable experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager, with a strong track record delivering renovation projects in both commercial and residential environments.
• In-depth knowledge of building fabric, refurbishment techniques and modern methods of construction applicable to existing buildings.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate – valid and in date.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• CSCS Gold or Black Card.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage multi-disciplinary site teams.
• Proven ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage competing priorities effectively.
Desirable:
• Experience working within a principal contractor environment on public sector or framework-procured projects.
• Familiarity with SBCC contracts and Scottish procurement frameworks.
• HNC/HND or degree-level qualification in Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing EWI (External Wall Insulation) or energy efficiency retrofit programmes.
