I am currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Executive based in Wolverhampton on a permanent basis for a well established and respected company.
This is an office based role that combines sales expertise with technical understanding. The successful candidate will work closely with the Technical Sales Manager, preparing accurate quotations and providing clients with cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce detailed and accurate quotes.
* Determine manufacturing methods that optimise cost and delivery time.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to gather pricing and production information.
* Ensure all quotations are competitive, compliant, and tailored to client needs.
* Estimate customer jobs to include bills of material and the best manufacturing route.
* Manage multiple projects while ensuring that all deadlines are met.
* Have regular contact with customers by phone and email.
* Ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a sales or estimating role within the fasteners industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of fasteners and their applications.
* Confident in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
* Skilled in producing quotes and understanding manufacturing cost structures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy sales environment.
* Computer literate with knowledge of Excel and Word.
* Experience in sales executive or telesales roles.
* A background in engineering, technical sales or manufacturing is advantageous.
