We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Proactive Sales Executive to support the growth of our trade customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, identifying opportunities through data-driven insights, and implementing effective contact strategies to strengthen customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to address the needs of smaller turnover customers, focusing on maximising the placement of pattern books in the marketplace.
* Contact customers to review performance, understand current projects, and promote collections.
* Understand customer needs to approach and maximise sales opportunities.
* Secure future business through excellent service and support.
* Develop and deliver a customer contact strategy using all contact tools.
* Provide world-class customer service to maximise sales opportunities.
* Record customer feedback and actions in CRM.
* Collaborate with the Customer Service Team to ensure order accuracy.
* Follow up on calls and emails.
* Analyse performance data to inform sales calls.
* Submit regular reports and monitor sales performance with management.
* Complete all necessary administration.
* Meet personal sales targets as part of the team.
* Employ effective sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling, to build strong business relationships.
Measures of Success:
* Achieving sales budgets and year-on-year growth.
* Staying within expenditure budgets.
* Maintaining call and email activity levels.
* Selling according to budgeted plans.
Connecting with others:
* Work with sales colleagues, customers, customer service, finance, and senior management to ensure performance and growth.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven sales experience, especially in call centres or mail order catalogues.
* Strong business sense and industry knowledge.
* Product knowledge and experience in building long-term relationships.
* Self-driven, results-oriented, positive attitude.
* Experience with CRM and WG360.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
