Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
* Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
* Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Provide exceptional service by presenting meals attractively and responding to customer inquiries regarding menu items.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Requirements
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment.
* Strong culinary skills with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* A team player with good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
