Join Our Team as a Catering Manager!
Are you passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service? We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells. This is a part-time role, contracted for 25 hours per week.
As our Catering Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly, delivering truly incredible food experiences. * Sun: Off
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Catering Manager, you will:
* Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
* Supervise our culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
* Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including managing inventories and budgets.
* Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
* Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
* Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales.
* Liaise between customers and our culinary teams to exceed expectations.
* Support and train our teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone excels.
* Implement and review Health & Safety standards for compliance across all teams.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal Catering Manager will:
* Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
* Have a minimum of two years of catering experience.
* Have experience managing teams in a similar role.
* Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2.
* Possess a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
* Demonstrate strong financial acumen.
* Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Be an ambitious and motivated individual eager to upskill.
