Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on UK HR Manager to lead their HR function across the UK. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the effective delivery of HR operations while supporting the implementation of Group strategy., HR Operations & Employee Relations
* Lead and oversee day-to-day HR operations, including disciplinary and grievance processes, absence and performance management, flexible working requests, maternity/paternity, and related matters.
* Support organisational reviews, redundancy processes, and TUPE transfers, ensuring timely, compliant, and business-focused outcomes.
* Provide proactive HR Business Partner support to UK Business Unit Managers, ensuring open communication and early identification of key matters.
* Guide the business and HR team in unionised consultation and negotiation processes, including pay reviews and collective agreements.
* Act as focal point with the recognised Trade Union and represent the business under the Energy Services Agreement.
Compliance & Policy
* Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant, practical, and aligned with best practice.
* Maintain oversight of legislative requirements and communicate effectively with HR teams and business leaders.
* Manage employee records, HR reporting, and departmental compliance with training and competency requirements.
Strategic HR & Projects
* Coordinate HR support for business expansion into new geographical areas of the UK.
* Act as HR lead for commercial bids and tenders.
* Contribute to strategic HR initiatives including Graduate & Apprentice recruitment and Employee Satisfaction Surveys.
* Drive continuous improvement across HR service delivery.
Recruitment & Talent
* Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes in line with company standards.
* Support succession planning, workforce development, and training initiatives.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, driving a positive employee experience, managing organisational change, and ensuring compliance with UK employment law and HR best practices. This is a highly operational role, requiring strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills., CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience).
* Extensive HR advisory/management experience within a complex environment.
