Overview
REED HR NI is working with our client, based in Bangor, to appoint a Human Resources Manager. This role involves leading and managing the strategic and day-to-day HR functions of the organization. The HR Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive people culture, ensuring HR activities align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Serve as an effective member of the Senior Team, fostering positive engagement with staff and promoting a coaching mentality across HR processes.
2. Manage the Human Resources function to achieve strategic and corporate objectives.
3. Collaborate with management to deliver corporate strategies and business plans.
4. Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide expertise on HR issues.
5. Maintain, review, and promote HR policies and procedures, ensuring their effective implementation.
6. Promote equality and diversity in HR matters.
7. Manage HR risks, act as the ICO nominated person for Data Protection/GDPR, and lead the health and safety management system.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* CIPD Qualified Level 5 minimum.
* Proven experience in Human Resources management, preferably in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of HR processes and legal compliance, with a strategic mindset.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
* Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and health and safety regulations.
* Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
